Mark and Craig had a great morning climbing the first 3 pitches of January Jigsaw (s) and the last pitch of Satins Slit (VS). The alpine start meant they had the face to themselves and managed to outflank the incoming rain and wind.

Craig was climbing well on his first climb back after his wee accident in the Alps.

Plus some images from the last couple of weeks showing and impressive land slide and some alpine’s that are out at the moment.

Milngavie Youth Cafe - Challenge Day

Simply Epic crew in association with MYC had a great day out with the kids from the cafe having fun and games on their challenge day event, with Laura and Shannon captaining the two teams in a classic game of the sum of the parts being greater...or something like that.

After some customary faff, we eventually got going with the  help of Bob Taylor and got the canoeing going along with the challenge games

The afternoon session almost went without a hitch but Craig and Bill pulled it off just in time, placing the final orienteering tags in place as the kids popped round the corner...but it all worked.

After a final round up and points tally, the winning team was announced...much to the loser's annoyance :) - no names tho!  Retirement to the cafe and fish n chips for all ended a great day and wall to wall fun for all involved.   

BIG thanks to the MYC Committee for pulling together the day...more to come we all hope.
